Get the FTO on a ramp and check the wheel bearings. Also check out your brakes - ensure a caliper is not sticking and the brakes are wearing evenly.

When were the droplinks last changes - these do seem to wear every couple of years.

if you dont have a ramp at hand see if there is any movement in the wheel by pulling and pushing it..

Check if there is any odd wear patterns on your brakediscs - does your wheel get warm to the touch after a short spin?`If yes could be a siezed brake piston and a worn brake pad..

Check if there is a pebble stuck in the brake disc (makes a MAD racket!)

Have you got under the car yet to check what the guys have suggested? Eliminate all of these items and them come back to us.

Could be loose wheel nuts, sounds silly but I had it happen before. A couple of the nuts were loose and the wheel was able to move a bit. It wasn't overly loud but it could be heard in the car. Funnily enough it was only when driving slowly I heard it. Worth checking anyway especially as you've had the wheel off a couple of times, sometimes the nuts come loose themselves and need to be tightened again. (happened a cople of times to me recently)
My sis's fella had his front passenger wheel fall off and needed a new wing. Luckily there wasn't any other damage done.
