I have just received my TPFT renewal for a nice price of €550 - the lowest it has ever been. Just checking with the rest to see if anyone has bettered that and if so with what company/broker, before I bite the girl's arm off to renew.

Did a few quotes with Quinn and some others but only got it down to about €680 online.

I'm with Britton/St Paul and have full NCB and am over 35.

that's a really low quote alright - you mind me asking why the tpft - the difference to full cover shouldn't be mental..

I'm with Eagle Star - I'm 30, I have no ncb, 2points - and I still only pay 814.97e for full comprehensive cover with glass cover and all that.

I've had use their recovery 3 times and thought it only covers the car and not me I'm very happy with them..

Renewal with Quinn this year would see a drop in my premium of a whole 11 Euro since last year (1139e TPFT).

Fully Comp with Hibernian, however, will only cost me 1172e so I think the choice is obvious!

22, 3 years NCB btw.

Insurance for under 600e, that's the stuff of fantasies for me.

The fully comp comes in at another 110 yo-yos so not really worth it for me. I get breakdown cover anyway with TPFT, so the only real worry I have is glass. I've owner the car for 8 years already and never had an issue so prefer to have the money in me pocket.

22, full license for a year and one year provisional on own policy before that... Got TPFT on a GS for €937 back in january. Think it was glitch in their site because they had two different options for the GS. One was about 1700 and the other was 937. Happy days, I took it and smiled! I posted up about it before.

Looks like I take the lead in this game of top trumps. 8) Just got renewal. €517 TPF&T + all the trimmings, windscreen, breakdown, protected NCB,etc.
30 (at least it has some advantages, only a matter of time until the incontinance pants and liquid food). Male, full licence, ful NCB, country address. Keep it country :smt023

I found there was very little difference between TPFT and full comp. quotes, why not go for FC when your premium is so low?
Just curious

I got a letter from Quinn Direct on Monday morning (was still a little groggy at the time)

"Are you paying over €591.67 for your motor insurance, if so - you need to call us straight away on 1890 etc etc."

Was just about to pick up the phone and chat to them when I saw the quote was for the Seicento.

Had asked them for a price on it a few months back for the craic, when I was buiying a classic too.

Has anyone else noticed a real disjoin between insurance companies - I got my renewal on the TT from Axa at 1209 fully comp.

I decided this was a bit steep so I rang hibernian - 544 fully comp - I'm astonished.

Axa have the TT listed in their highest grouping (exluding exotics). Seems a bit stupid to me - TT included with an M3 - WTF.

Suffice to say I kicked Axa to the curb and took up Hibernians offer - the cheapest I've ever paid for insurance :D

Worst thing was that the Axa salesperson was totally dismissive on the phone and pretty much told me to feck off to Hibernian - this upset me a bit as they have been brilliant to deal with up until now.

The last time I was renewing I rang them all.
I got over €1000 difference between quotes
