Hello Fellow FTO enthusiasts!

I've Owned My 1996 Red Manual GPX FTO for 3 years but It never occurred to me to join up here until now.

I've been super busy finishing out my degree over the last few years but now that that is over, I'm free. I'm delighted to get my FTO back to how I want it to be. Perfect

I'm located around Galway City usually but I don't keep the car in the city encase someone would try rob it.

Does anyone know where I can get a (preferably) secondhand exhaust for this machine ?

Been looking all over can't find much. Going down to take it out the exhaust now and diagnose how bad it is. It sounds like a biplane at the moment ... I want to get it back to that sweet purr I remember it had when I got it .

I loved how quiet it was and then you rev it up and it sounded like a F1 on the Mivec

You will pick up a second-hand exhaust on eBay or perhaps Donedeal. Make sure you buy stainless - Mongoose, Blueflame are two good ones to go for.

Very nice fto. Mick Ah on here is breaking an fto. It had a mongoose twin exhaust on it. Might be gone, but you can check with him.

I originally wanted a black one but when i went to see this one I decided red was to way to go

Checked Done deal already I don't know why I didn't check ebay to be honest !

You can use the search/advanced search function at the top right of the of the screen to find the answers to most things FTO related.
The chances are it's been discussed at some stage over the years, whatever it is.
