Haven't found a good one yet... breaker just north of Manchester was going to send me 2 small parts via DPD (used to be Interlink) and they wanted 30 pounds. Wouldn't even reply when I asked for a cheaper option but that's another story.

If you do find one let me know!

If you can find out who does it for camskill it might help you? Their delivery charge on the cat-back exhaust is ~€15. Though they could be getting a good rate with the amount of business they do, or simply be effectively subsidizing more expensive/heavier items themselves?

Just got a pallet of stuff in this morning from TNT (for the RRS) - set of 20inch rims and various cosmetic bits and bobs all for circa €150.

DPD have a flatrate in ireland of 24.20 for the firs 10Kg. So £30 from the uk seems reasonable enough to me (unless we are talking about very light and small items). Any transport company will tell you shipping to Ireland from th UK is expensive, not sure why though.

Target express only deliver for the UK company in Ireland. I will try a dig out exactly who is the UK courier.

I would thinik that Camskill have such a good rate due to volume and proximity to the depot.

I think he was replying to my post... it was for 2 small light items, no body parts or anything like that. A strip of rubber (seal) and a small electronic part. These particular breakers seem to be an awkward shower to deal with.

This sounds a bit odd - but when I've had to ship large stuff across from the UK I've found a number of smaller courier companies on eBay..

The Bonnet cost me 100gbp - but 4alloys at some stage could be collected and delivered for 20gbp..

they cater for all shapes and sizes.

sorry mate - I cant remember what the "company" was called... but it was essentially a bloke in a van..

Found him on eBay though - so have a poke about there and call them for quotes, I remember calling 3 places before finding this guy..

Cheers,

Got a price of 145 for 4 wheels - not particularly cheap but not too bad - think I could probably get a bunch of other smaller stuff in there too as I have to pay for a pallet even if I don't use it all.
