J Tuner Mag - March

Postby Myfeckin FTO » Thu Feb 02, 2006 5:56 pm

Picked up the March edition of J Tuner (yeah I know its barely Feb!) - good track based feature on a few of the UK forums cars - some nice looking cars there. Well worth getting for the FTO's alone.

Bishi - car looked very well - some very individual mods going on there.
Glad to see you bought a different anorak for this shoot as well

Usually get it in Easons - but just happened to pick it up in a local 2 bit glorified sweetshop in the West of Ireland

Yeah - it was 15.5 or thereabouts for the 1/4 mile from what I recall.
I noticed that both Bishi and Freak set much slower times (up to a second) for their 1/4 mile over their best attempts posted on the 1/4 mile table on the UK forum. Was it fairly slippy?

Nicely presented engine bay btw - I'd love to have the patience to do it myself.

Got me a copy from the Spar in the Cork airport biz park today, trying not to look at it until later (at least when I'm on the forum it looks like I'm typing and thus might be doing some work  ). Had a quick browse through though, cars looking well! I have a bit of work to do on my own engine bay methinks! :?

Yeah....it was too cold for good traction which was a shame :( TheFreak hasn't come close to his storming santa pod run for a long time.....his car is now running a replacement engine too so the freaky fast part may well have gone :( .....Only for a short while though, because he's rebuilding the old unit 8)
