Hi,ive just fitted the ITG kit from www.camskill.co.uk or contact RICEROCKET ON HERE, your looking around £99 for the GR and around £66 for GPX and GPVR most of the guys seem to favour them for quality and 8 bhp gains, which has been debated.
Look at the post by CJ on making the cold air intake and heat deflector over the the gear box,a must in reducing warm air from entering the filter, there are some great pics to give u the general idea.

I got an ITG filter recently and it sounds brilliant. When I got it first, I'm sure that it made the car go faster - the pickup seemed to be better and the acceleration was great. Now, I don't think that there is much of a difference in improved performance but that may be due to it getting a bit clogged with dust etc or perhaps I've got used to the little extra power. But it still sounds great when you hit the Mivec zone.

Also, I still have to make a cold air deflector for it.

the HKS powerflow would be my first choice, i think it came out best of all in fto induction tests done by the lads in england, + 8.5bhp,

the ITG came in at +8bhp, im not too sure if this figure was reached with aid of a cold air box?? can anyone clarify this ??

the HKS has a green mushroom shaped filter, with an outer frame, its over twice the price, i think ??
it gives a deeper, not so raw note, ive not heard it fitted to an fto, but on evo 5 and 6, and subaru wrx is sounds sweet.

im getting one for my gpx after xmas, also designing a coldbox for it :D .

i think its a toss up between the ITG & HKS for most people, personally its HKS for me

the ITG is fine if you don't mind being greeted by a bath sponge when you open the bonnet, personally I'd prefer something a bit less offensive to my eyes, maybe an Apexi or a Blitz/Quickshift

I just use a K&N Panel... anyone thought about directing some more cold air from the front... Wavin? as you lads call it. :D but seriously, there is an air damn that the OE air box draws from, however, this area is not directly fed with cold air. Instead all the cold air is fed under the air dam and onto the rad. Anyone though of putting a pipe in here somewhere to take air from the grill and direct it into the OE air pipe that leads to the airbox? any pics? much work involved... I've used some form of homemade duct pipeing on all my previous cars and think it definetly helps avoid heat soak and warm air.
If you pop the bonnet on the FTO, right in front of the rad you can see an angled piece of black plastic that runs between both headlamps... on the far right of this is a triangular opening that leads to the OE airpipe to the airbox... Im thinking of putting some pipe through a hole in this angle plastic and directing air directly to the triangular entrance to the OE air pipe? ideas? suggestions?

So Im the only 1 with a CDA then :?

Anyway I got a CDA with a funnel cut into the front bumper and a direct pipe to the inlet with the minimum of bends

And yes it does make a difference with the new zorst aswell.........makes sence that if ya gonna maximise the air intake that you maximise the zorst outlet 8)
