Short shift?

Postby kevinod » Fri Dec 24, 2004 1:21 pm

Hey,

was looking at ebay (usual search for 'fto') and came across a short shift mechanism thingy which seemed pretty interesting, only when I asked the guy for any installation instructions he had so I knew what I'd get myself into, he told me I'd need an Evo gear shift bucket or it wouldn't fit.

Not 100% what that is *exactly* but it does strike me that the gear change on the FTO is long enough, and I wouldn't mind putting in a short shift.

Anyone done this?

Yup, thats it alright... seems to be a fair bit of confusion on there about will it won't it though.

Guy told me it wouldn't without the Evo gear shift bucket though, I should register on ftooc.org instead of just browsing every so often...

OT, but if you're not a member then you only have 20 posts to play with before you become inactive.
