Hi There,

Anyone tried the above kit. I assume its to replace the entire filter?
I think mines an ITG but can't be sure....

Same idea as the BMC CF sealed airbox (which is supposed to pretty good by all accounts):

Yours is a HKS, I'd be inclined to keep it in place and install some cold air ducting from the front bumper.

Looks like something like this for the 200sx would fit yours well

or just make it yourself with an intake at the front bumper.

Sorry, just noticed this thread & thought I'd reply...

I had the HKS filter on mine & was very happy with the performance of it before I swapped it for the BMC CDA (in order to develop a fitting kit for the FTO) - I've got to say the difference is unbelievable, whether you went for the BMC or any other cold air induction kit you will definitely feel the benefits! 8)

Um, :smt017 so just to clarify, you're saying the BMC CDA is much better? Not questioning ya, just not sure which you're saying is better! I've a HKS induction kit on mine (came on it from Japan).

Sorry, that wasn't very clear was it...

I was happy with the HKS, BUT the BMC CDA is much better - a constant source of cold air makes all the difference and it is a lot more responsive now as well as being definitely quicker - hoping to get to a drag strip early Jan to find out exactly how much... :)

Heh, thanks, I thought that was probably what you were getting at but just to check!
