Incase anyone is thinking of going to see it, looks mint in the pics.
I saw it last year before I bought the blue one.

Went to see the GPvR last night.

Was a bit disappointed, the entire body has been resprayed, there is a lot of overspray on the door trims. For example, the rubbers between the door handles and the door were painted over, and where the side skirts meet the body was painted badly as well.
There were a good few blemishes under the paintwork on the wings, and the hinge on the carbon bonnet was siting up higher than it should due to a small crack near the hinge. probably due to the bonnet being closed while something was under the bonnet. The spare wheel was missing, and the front suspension was clunky, although this would be sorted out before the NCT.

I really liked the Enkei wheels, the fact that it had an MP3 compatible CD player, the fact that it is a facelift model, and the rarity value of the GPvR. the exhaust sounded amazing, it was the first one I've driven that hasn't been overshadowed by induction roar. the HKS induction system is quiet enough at low revs, but still roars when the MIVEC cuts in.

just to save anyone driving for as long as I did only to be disappointed. note: NCT is now done on the car, so mechanical issues should be sorted.

210 horses too....wahoo! There is some serious automotive engineering geniuses out there in Ireland, to squeeze more than 100bhp per litre from the mivec engine by modding it themselves.

most mivecs will be 195-200bhp. The average being 197. I suppose some people who read the adds will rather by a car that says "210bhp car" in the ad, rather than just "Fto 2ltr mivec".
