Anyone know where I can get the rubber gripie thingie for the brake pedal, or even better still a sporty looking replacement set? I know about ebay, etc but I need to get it asap (NCT failed on it?!) and retest is at the weekend so posting is out of the question...

Most car accessory shops should have pedal covers I'd guess? if you can get a set that bolt over they should be pretty generic.

Is yours a manual or tip by the way?

Mine came with Razo covers that bolt over the existing pedals, no probs with NCT.

It's manual, but I was worried that although they were pretty generic there still might be slight differences in sizes which would affect either the NCT or the driveability of the car.

Bit silly all the same that a car can fail for a worn pedal grip...

True, but at least you won't have to pay the extra €27 or whatever it is if they have to use equipment to test it.

Suggest you get a standard replacement if needed in a hurry. They are cheap as chips and available from your local misubishi garage, this is a standard part and fitted to most mitsi cars.
