I've sold my FTO because I fancied a change of motor and the buyer hasn't taken the stuff I put in the add so I'm throwing it up here for anyone who might want first dibbs before they go on ebay or some other sites or in scrap.. whatever comes first i suppose
I will get pictures up over the weekend hopefully but basically its the following:
One back box, with the inlet pipe cut off at the last bend before it goes into the back box. The reason for this was that I put on a universal Tanabe back box and rather than pipe it across I got the fitter to exit it on the left side.
Also I have the original CAT with the bolts that go on, though I dont have any proper fitting gaskets as they went with the car. The bolts are pretty old looking too so they might be of no use but there no hard to replace.
The car had 80'000 miles on it and the both boxes seem in relatively good nick and she passed emissions dead on in the MOT back in March. The items have been off the car for at least 2 months now and sitting in my shed ( the Cat is wrapped in an old blanket to stop getting dirt or that inside it).
I will require the buyer to collect the items at least somewhere in the North, I'm willing to travel a little to meet anyone who needs these items badly enough, within reason of course. I might be willing to post the CAT but it'll have to wait to next week to I get a chance to find out postage costs for it.
I'm looking... say £40 for the back box and £30 for the cat, or £60 for the pair, considering I don't need them and I'd rather someone got use out of them on here considering how useful this forum has been to me.
