Got my black fto back from the bodyshop on monday after getting the front bumper resprayed to get rid of the mass of stonechips and a bit of touch up here and there on other stone chips. It was looking fantastic and i was falling in love with it again say to myself sell the red keep the black..........

Anyway came into work yesterday in the black one and my day ended badly with news of stevie g leaving liverpool, so went to go home only to find out the hard way that some one had let some of the air out of my 2 front tyres. (found them to be 15 & 18 psi) i at first thought the stearing was slightly heavy as i was tired it was only after i went over a speed bump at the exit gate that had a rail for the gate embedded in it i knew something was up, unfortunatly the rail did the damage and collasped the side walls , thou i could pump them back up with the side walls gone the vibration was terrible, had to get a mate to meet me with 2 of my standard alloys didn't get home till 11pm (instead of the usual 9 pm had left the house at 5.45 that morning...one long day :( ).
How do you know someone let the air out and it just wasn't a couple of slow punctures i hear you ask, well i have flush fitting valves on the alloys and the dozey $%&!$%*&%$!$%& didn't put the covers back on, if i ever find out who did this they had better run :!: they were good tyres too had only done about 4k on them now i got to put on 2 more and 18"s toyo proxes aint bloody cheap

End rant :!: :!: :!:

Yea we do but, a fella's bike got damaged last year and they couldn't find who did it so i'm not that hopeful that they would find who went at mine.
There are hundreds of cars in the carpark so i guess they wouldn't see someone on their hands and knees.

I've heard stories about the long term carpark at Dublin airport whereby lads enter with a banger and come out with a decent car, I believe they've tightened up on security to a degree since then but I can't help but worry each time I leave my own there!

Straying off topic a bit, but over in airports like Liverpool airport, there's a few places beside the airport that you can securely park your car in, and they'll drop you to the airport and collect you when you come back and all. Anything like that in Dublin?

There is a private company at the airport offering parking at a 1 euro an hour or a fiver a day. http://www.quickpark.ie/
They have a free shuttle which drops you to the terminal and picks up again on return. Have used it a couple of times with no problems. You can even book/prepay online saving time on return.
