Al, were you locked when you created this thread?!

Polybushes tighten things up handling wise no end but they contribute to a harder ride.

As per CJ only negative I can think of would be a harsher ride. Far longer lasting than the rubber versions - less give hence a tighter feel to the car - presume your mates didn't buy scoobies and EVO's for their cosseting properties. Did they give a reason why they didn't like them?

yep i was sozzled, lol.
but am sober now :D and still wondering, my bro got the polys taken out and put in beefed up denser rubber bushes, ride is much softer now, ok its not as tight handling, but the STI tends to handle very good anyway.

is there a softer option for the fto, rather than going for polys, im hoping to get coilovers very soon and running on 18s.............. or do i just get a cushion for me seat, lol

the main reason my mates dont like the polys is the state of the roads around crumlin, drimnagh etc  , but there all running 18s too so i guess that wont help.

sorry just noticed my original rant, lol.
my mates only got an EVO 4, not a 6.... its funny cos hes here beside me now and he noticed the error, OK IM OFF TO PUB FOR A SHANDY OR TWO
