is the cluch RIP?

Postby kona » Mon Apr 12, 2010 9:41 pm

this happened twice in a row, floored the car in first,no problem.
into second and revs were going up but bad increase in speed.
into 3rd and realised speed was not increasing so backed off on the throttle and then the power re-engaged.

it felt like i was spinning the tyres in 2nd and 3rd which is highly unlikely as i was on dry tarmac.
its going fine under normal day to day driving

by the way its manual FTO with LSD.

I'm with Seb..

..get your clutch checked out, sounds like it's on it's last legs... I think.
