Wanted: Outside Temp Sensor

Postby Dilogoat86 » Mon Jan 11, 2010 5:29 pm

I'm looking for an outside temp sensor. Well, I'll buy one unless it can be fixed somehow. It constantly reads 20C and never changes. Makes me smile though.

you sure your control unit isn't knackered, your interior heat doesn't seem to work either.

The outside temp sensor has never worked in the time I've known the car but the heating has always worked until recently. It's very comical pressing it when someone is in the car and convincing them that it is 20C outside.

Do you know where the sensor is in the car? think it's in the front bumper but not sure.

Think mine goes below 0 all right, vaguely remember it hitting -2 or -3 last year.

As far as the manual says it's in the front bumper on the driver's side light area.
