Hi ppl,
Does anyone know how to take off standard tip gear knob?
I was struggling with this half an hour and .... nothing I gave up... :?
I`ve bought a pretty cool new Greddy one from eBay and now the old one`s pissing me off and doesn`t want to get da f... out. :lol:
Please help lads because I`ll comit a suicide by a scredriver... :lol:

Put the stick into the N position.

With the button pushed down slide a dinner knife down
the left and right sides of the button.
This should release catches that wlll allow the button come out.

Next screw off the white piece.

Next you need to remove a nut using a 12mm socket.
The threaded bar will push down slightly but you might still
have difficulty getting the wrence into the socket.
If you use an extension bar tou should be able to catch
the edge of the socket with the wrench and get it turned.


I know that this definetly works because I was doing the same thing
an hour ago.
If you've any problems let me know, I can send you photos of what
to do if you get stuck.
Alternatively make a box spanner.
