Did my NCT earlier on today, passed with no problems. Talking to the mechanic afterwards he told me that the FTO is a very mechanically sound car and they very rearly have a problems with mitsubishi cars in general. Great relief to pass first time round.

As in the mechanic in the test centre? He has a point, as long as the FTO is looked after reasonably well, problems are generally few and far between. The good thing is that the main issues are fairly well documented and are usually easily rectified.
