Andy. My advice is to get it professionally sealed. Mustang here did a DIY underseal and while the effort was comprehensive, the job wasn't. You only have to miss a bit of rust here and there for it to become a nasty cancer and spread. The underseal on my gpx was done in 2010 i think (the thread is on here). It would have failed the next nct i'm sure. It's done properly now and I can relax. I would say a diy job should be just a top up job when it comes to undersealing. Do it every 2 years to make sure rust has no chance to set in. Mine needed derusting, cutting, plate welding and resealing. I am lucky to have got it done for only €200.
