Curragh 24-6-05

Postby Daz » Sat Jun 25, 2005 8:00 am

Had to pick up a mate from the curragh last night on my way home from work, saw a blue 96 in one of the car parks couldn't quite tell but i think it was one of the rare prefacelift GPvR couldn't get close enough to tell.

But it didn't have the solid colour front seats, or were they only for the facelift versions???

Sounds like a GP rather than a GPvR (only available in facelift IIRC).

IIRC, the GPvR was strictly facelift, If you compare the 1996 linup with the 1998 linup on mitsubishi-fto.org, you'll notice that the GPvR isn't listed on the former:

1996 lineup

http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/info/96-lineup.htm

1998 lineup

http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/info/lineup.htm

Of course I'm open to correction :)

Actually, you're right Daz, I stand corrected :) The GP was cut down version of the GPX.
