Interior

Does anyone know of what would be the cheapest route to spicing up the interior / dash area a bit?

I like those momo gearknob and handbreaks a lot but €130+ before shipping seems like a lot for what they are...?

Was also thinking what something like this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1 - has anyone seen an fto with a trim like that fitted?

The black everything in there really is a bit dull...

Steer clear mate - I got something similar once and ended up throwing it in the bin! Best bet is to do as CJ and spray the centre console...

I added aluminium rings and cups onto my dials, and think it made a big difference, broke up the black and (IMHO) looks well.

Keep an eye on ebay for the Momo stuff, there's always loads of handbrake covers and gearknobs on there.

Spraying the dash parts is probably the best if you want to change the look of those, but the one drawback is that if you don't like the end result and want to go back, it won't be easy to do so.

I'd recommend the following:

white dials (blue on white is nice)
aluminium needle cups
aluminium dial rings
type-f handbrake sleeve
type-f door handle cups
paint centre console

Dunno what steering wheel you have but if it's the 3 spoke one I'd get rid of that asap and fit a smaller diameter leather wheel (definitely worth the expense)....
