FTO of questionable taste on Carzone - no, not my one!

How low profile are those tyres ?!

2.0 v6 d.o.h.c.200bhp 0-62 6.9 sectop speed around 150mph tiptronic box what a car u wont find another one like it

you definately won't find another GR tiptronic with those sort of figures too handy!

Here's the link if anyone wants to spend €7,950 on a 95 GR.
http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/Mitsubi ... v6/946705/

At least it makes mine look like reasonably good value!

I'm sure that was in the spotted section a while back, think Seb spotted it, its the graphics that I recognise. Tyres are crazy, and it makes it look way too high as well!

that needs to be lowered - ALOT!

also it must be the fastest GR around..maybe it's to do with the aerodynamics..

Worst FTO I've ever seen. Why ruin an already near perfect looking car with those horribe graphics, horrible wheels and have it higher than Amy Winehouse! Can't understand why some people have to ruin cars like that!!

Edit: have to say I go like the silver centre unit...

readvertised for €3,200. negotiate the price, peel all the crap off, get some smaller wheels, and it could almost be a bargain?

Rember the previous owner in Carlow had it for sale for ages, and was looking for big money ~10k IIRC

It's actually not that bad though, be fair, if it was lowered and had some nice origional wheel's on it, it would actually be a nice looking car, you'd only need about €600.00 top's to make it look normal again.

Gotta say folks, I like the wheels! If the suspension set up was sorted the wheels would look a lot better!

who writes these adverts? seriously. Presumably this type of car is aimed at an "enthusiast" etc so why do they try overdo the BS like potential buyers will be brain dead. It's a GR with 185bhp? not bad considering they have 168 standard. I suppose its the induction kit gives it 10% extra. Any car that drops from 8000euro to 2999euro in 4 weeks (thats right folks, its losing value at a rate of 1200euro a week) is obviously a bargain... someone should buy it ASAP. :P :P :P :P

The real tragedy of it is that with a little more careful selection of mods (e.g. nicer rims and lowered, no graphics) he could have had an FTO like this one (same veilside kit) - http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/417467.htm which would have sold for a lot more than 3k.

While we are on the subject - heres another (actually quite nice) FTO with a rather questionable power claim of 267bhp!

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/427059.htm

Similar to what McGon said - that ludicrous claim would put me off buying that FTO if I was in the market for one.

Spotted that one before. Doubt that a superchip would give you an extra 67 bhp though. If they told the truth the car would sell a lot quicker, enthusiasts know about the car, and they know that if its 200bhp then thats one they want to buy. If its 5 or 10 more than that, then great, but 67?! Rings alarm bells.

I've contacted the seller to see what engine mods he has. Should be interesting to see what type turbocharger he's running.
