FTO Exhaust Question

Postby dazmac » Sun Sep 14, 2008 8:02 pm

Hi,
I'm in the market for a new FTO exhaust - Middle and back sections (everything from after the CAT to the tail pipe.
What is the best option for this without spending too much on a performance exhaust.. just want something that will sound ok and get me through the NCT.
many thanks
Darren

Hi Dazmac,

the common consensus seems to be that the Mongoose is as close to stock as is available, but there's lots of choice.

Do a search on the forum for exhaust and you'll find loads on it.

Blueflame quads, definately. you'll get a catback system for around €500 delivered.

Good couple of systems here:

but the Blueflame quads are by far the best value

but, like Topcat, I may be biassed!

they are great value for money but i have heard they are a heavy system. Are you bothered about saving weight?

Blueflame quads are considerably lighter than the standard exhaust - add a decat and its much lighter still.

Thanks for the heads up lads..
Have gone for the blue flame Twin Oval system, quads look impressive but gonna keep car looking fairly standard.
I was surprised how reasonable that site camskill is even with delivery etc..
cheers
