A lot of what I have done could be called preventative maintenance -
for example within the last year I have changed 3 belts, 6 Denso plugs, Clutch, Greenstuff pads (2 sets on front),all fluids changed, 4 oil & filter changes, front and rear droplinks & ARB bushes, Front Suspension front and rear bushes (Poly with extra castor) , rear trailing arm bushes, rear outer and inner arm bushes,Track rods, boot kit, KYB Dampers and Apex springs and a left rear wheel bearing.
And thats before the list of other cosmetic and performance mods such as 3 trips to the bodyshop for blended DC skirts, TM front and Hiro rear - ITG filter, decat stainless exhaust, front strut brace, stainless slam panel as well as interior mods such as Isotta steering wheel, gear shift and handbrake, stainless steel dials and various other bits and bobs such as powder coated wheels, painted calipers etc.

The only thing i don't respect is someone slagging another persone off for modding or not modding there cars, at the end of the day it's down to personal choice, were here to help one another with any issues that may arise, thats what a club so to speak is all about. I'm not saying that this has happened here afterall it was cj giving out to himself (maybe the green pills tomorrow bud lol ) it's just i wouldn't want this website/club go the way some of the English sites went a couple of years back with the the bitchyness/fighting and slagging off.

Whooa... I didn't mean to slag anyone off and if it came over that way then I apologise.
PT FTO wrote:MyfFTO, you seriously have too much time on your hands and too much money to play with . Do I think you're mad and neurotic........yes, am I jealous....hmm, don't know .
Don't think I could justify doing all that to a 10/11 year old car.
CJ wrote:Lads, we're going off on a tangent on this particular topic and I'm probably not helping helping with this reply but it has to be said that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and at the end of the day thats what a forum is all about, airing your views. I certainly don't take offence at what PT said and I'm sure no one else does. We've always had a good natured attitude on this forum and I don't see it changing in the future. You get the odd crossed wire here and there which is only to be expected given the communication medium, that aside, lets keep doing what we've been doing all along - talking about FTOs, having the craic and talking the odd bit of shyte! Lets leave it there....
