Guys - I'm moving on a very clean 2003 Renaultsport 172 Clio - Its the facelifted Phase 2 model.
83K miles - Recent NCT to 07/14.
It really is the best example of a 172 I have ever been in - a very extensive service history.
For example the last two services covered:
Fully synth oil & filter
Iridium plugs
New Tyres all round (Federal SS595)
Full timing belt kit including waterpump, dephaser pulley and aux belts
Engine mounts all of them (inc rear) replaced Powerflex cost €300
Exhaust mounts
Gear oil replaced
New velo radiator plus fluids replaced
New disc Brakes allround including pads
Eibach springs 30mm drop
Wheels refurbished - cost €400
Its running a stealth exhaust at the moment (nice induction noise but low exhaust noise) - but I also have an almost new stainless steel scorpion exhaust if more noise is preferred.
It really is a blast to drive - excellent handling and with 172bhp in a 1050kg car its easy to see why this hot hatch came out on top in hot hatch performance tests for so many years.
An absolute steal at €2950 - theres been more money spent on servicing this car over the past couple of years.
I may consider a trade of an FTO in good nick but it must be a mivec manual.
