New Guy-Condensation in head light.

Postby The Flea » Fri Jan 21, 2005 4:34 pm

Hey guys, just bought my first FTO in November and am very impressed!
I have a nct coming up on it though and just wondering if you had anything i should be looking out for? The car has done jus over 100 000 miles. Is in good condition and runs great.
The left front head light has condensation-would any one have any fixes for this or know where i could get another at a desent price? :?

Otherwise maybe CJ can advise as he hand a similar problem.
For a replacement light suggest you contact Steelroe (on the forum).

Thanks Mustang.I have a Dark blue GS.
Unfortunately insurances held me back from going any bigger(only 23) but will be looking at other models in the future.
Just been looking through the forum today, got a nice bit of info on it. :)

Yeah seen that one, I got mine in Dublin and it has a Louth reg. I got off a fella called Ian.
Same colour, but different alloys and exhuast. Talking about alloys, you wouldn't know what deep dish alloys would fit the FTO? :?:

Dunno about deep dish alloys, but the specs for alloys are PCD 5 x 114.3, offset 35-38, centre bore of 67.1. (you know I've been watching out for a set!)

No hassles...

Someone pointed out this site lately, can try out various wheels on an FTO of whatever colour for the craic, even lower the car to see what it looks like:

http://www.modifymycar.com/home.html

There are a few wheel sites about that will list lots of cars and their pcd/offset/etc., but not many match the FTO. Ford Probe I think was a 'good' match, *ahem*, and one or more of the Nissans (Skyline?) would do too I think. Prob a couple more, worth checking out.
