USB Memory Stick.

Postby steelroe » Wed May 09, 2012 9:48 pm

I am looking to buy a large capacity memory stick to backup a vast amount of important service manuals I have on my PC. Anyone recommend a particular brank and what is the largest capacity available.

You'd be better off with an external hard drive. A usb won't give you much value for money when compared against a 1TB hard drive. Thats what I use for backing up my pc
97 Manual GPX. Icecelle Blue.
Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.

32Gb sticks are fairly inexpensive these days I wouldn't be too worried about the brand. As per goz, you can get 30 times the storage for 3 times the price (vs 32Gb USB stick) by investing in an external hard drive, worth considering

Under €100 will buy you a tasty external USB powered 1TB drive that comes with backup software and other bits and pieces. Toshiba and Buffalo come to mind for the small form factor (2.5") drives.
Currently in my collection:
'98 Toyota Starlet...
'79 Mini Clubman 1380cc ~100BHP (I hope)
'79 BMW 728
