Interior light won't turn off?

Postby Mustang » Thu Nov 08, 2007 11:16 am

This happened about two weeks ago and i have not had time to troubleshoot it. I had to disconnect the wire from the rear view mirror to turn the light off. I'm guessing faulty switch on the door, anyone any thoughts on this one?

Would agree, the spring tends to go after a while. Remove both switches and trick about with them, you'll find the faulty one eventually.

seen thisa happen on some cars if the seatbelt gets caught in the door it damages the switch. could be normal wear and tear on the switch as well.
