Lovely example of an FTO. Don't often see good condition GPvR manual Aeros for sale. If I was looking for an FTO at the moment I'd take your arm off. Well maintained - drove this FTO recently and its sweet - lovely sound with the ITG and the decatted Quad.

Hope it stays on the forum.

That looks a great buy for someone, considering the spec, maintenance and year.
Most FTO's would usually need a few quid spent on them for tasty mods like quads and wheels/tyres and tidying up.

Best of luck with the sale, saw this car in the flesh in Limerick last year and it's a cracker.

 Yeah unfortunately I have to let her go, it hasn't been an easy choice, but priorities are taking over. Yeah it has been a passion of mine so I spent a few quid on it almost as much as I paid for it hahaha. But a well maintained car is a problem free one

Good luck with the sale Jay, I've seen this car in the flesh and I can vouch for its condition - the buyer won't be dissapointed.

Bump:GP Version R 1998

Postby JayVersion"R" » Sun Aug 24, 2008 8:29 pm

hi guys just to let you know my FTO is still up for sale. I have been struggling with the thoughts of leaving it go, and as a result haven't really advertised it, in saying that I've had plenty of tyre kickers wasting time but I suppose it comes with selling. So if anyone is interested get in touch

well partly my fault, have to sell but don't want to...! So I have been reluctant in putting it up on CBG, Carzone etc. I'd much prefer to let it go to a real FTO enthusiast than someone that'll abuse it. It is highly maintained and modified. To be honest there aint much you'd really need to do apart from maybe cosmetic and to be honest I like it just the way it is.

Hi JAY,

I'd be interested in taking a look as I've been hunting a nice fto for some time and carzone has only turned up neglected boy racer throwaways.

I've sent you a PM there

Plenty of abused FTO'S out there alright, prevention is better than cure and my FTO starts every time and has never ever left me down. It is without a doubt one of the best cars I have ever had. It won't be easy parting with it :(

You are like me Jay, I have been "selling" it for the past year. But the only place I ever put it up was here.
I have never advertised it, and now decided to get a load of work done rather than let it go.

Yeah that's the problem, it's been such a good car and never a spot of bother, it just makes it hard to sell it on. I'll defo be sorry to see it go. But on the other hand if it takes another year I really don't mind  Although my other half is kind of wondering why it hasn't sold yet...

Hi guys just let those of you know who dont already, that my GP Version R was sold. To much of my reluctance I had to leave it go. I will say that at least it has gone to a good home and it hasn't left the FTO site.
