Tappet adjustment tool

Postby misterbishi » Tue Sep 25, 2007 6:56 pm

Hey folks,

Doing a bit of work on the beast soon, have ordered parts from camskill.

I figured while I had the inlet manifold off, changing to irridium's I might as well check/adjust the tappets!
However the tool is proving to be very expensive. 89GBP on camskill and 40 on ftouk. I know that it is possible to make one from a deep 10mm socket but I have not got access to a proper workshop at the moment.....

Would anybody give me a loan or rent of one of these puppys for a given weekend??

Cheers, Ill reimburse postage if necessary.
