Imported two kits - will post pictures this evening..

One is 5000k the other 8000k.. Brand spanking new but seller was really slow to ship - so I'll probably be hunting around for a different supplier.

The one I don't install will be up for sale..

My HIDs arrived yesterday - really quick shipping. They look very simple to install, I'll have a go later (assuming the poxy rain stops for a while )

The trickiest bit is finding somewhere to mount the ballasts, wiring is easy, assuming your kit is the same as mine... just watch the connectors aren't reversed, in mine and I think a few others the cables had to be reversed to work.

They came with brackets and double sided adhesive strips, I'll probably end up drilling inside the wings to mount the brackets in place, hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult...

would anybody by chance have pictures of where they mounted theirs? Had a quick look under the bonnet last night and I can't really think of anywhere to stick em.

My kits do come with extension leads - but still - don't really fancy sticking them somewhere where they'll melt (well ok they are metal) or get covered in mud..

Didn't fancy drilling my wings but I'd be interested to see how that goes if you do it!

I have the drivers one on a little bracket thingy on top of the engine mounting, and the passenger side one at the side wall of the engine, but I think I'll be changing that, not happy with that one.

Don't have pics, but I'll try get some over the weekend hopefully.
