window swich

Postby Sebastian » Wed Aug 08, 2007 12:40 pm

yesterday o did a god and a bad thing to my car

i started washing the door cards on the car (without taking the facade down from the door) with a normal sponge & water + shampoo ( avoiding the window swich as much as i could)
good thing - they turned out great
bad thing ( stupid ) - now passenger side window is not coming down

The ''control '' is dead i mean the window doesnt slide from the swich on the driver door or the one on it .

Do you recon i shoud wait a couple of days maybe that will dry out or defo i must get another swich ?

Take out the switch mechanism and leave it in a warm place overnight, drying it out will mostly likely fix the problem.

Caught me once - did you by any chance push the window lock button on the drivers side? that disables the passenger side window.
