Woven Mesh grill

Postby CJ » Tue Mar 15, 2005 8:12 pm

I'm after some woven mesh for the front grill and I can't seem to find the stuff anywhere (locally that is - I know Type F sell it but I reckon you should be able to get it cheaper), anyone any ideas? See example below:

Again, watch this space! I have the bumper, the Lupo fogs and I'll be getting the MG ZT indicator units today, I have yet to pick up the wing but I should have that soon. I'm doing all the work myself (apart from spraying the bumper of course) , on that basis, I'm confident that I'll come in well under a grand for the lot. Once I start the job, I'll create a thread and update on my progress.

CJ - I love the look of that stuff on steel silver aswell and I asked one of the UK guys where he picked up and he told me Halfords stock it (over there at least).

Now I havent actually checked due to having no fto to put it on, but there is a Halfords out in Liffey Valley.

let me know how you get on if you can...

I checked Halfords in Blanch and Liffey Valley, they're stock is pretty crap IMO, especially in LV. I also heard that B&Q might have it, again, nothing on that front.

Dave, let us know if you can get your hands on the stuff or not, I'll do a more searching in the meantime.
