Remote

Postby JayVersion"R" » Thu Jun 22, 2006 3:55 pm

I have a CD/FM jammer 6 cd changer, called Addzest. The unit itself has been hooked up to my car stereo (Pioneer) and is all ready to go. the only thing is when I turned it on it's stuck on Pause???? Obviously it requires a Remote for it, but like most unfortunate cars on their trip accross the Seas end up getting stripped. It would be a shame to have to buy everything just because I have no remote. I have been searching the web and emailed a few dealers etc, but to no avail. I would be delighted if any of you guys could point me in the right direction or have one for sale...

IIRC, Addzest was the Jap name for Clarion, try a few Clarion dealers. Apart from keeping a close eye on electronic bay, I reckon you might struggle to find a model specific remote.

Tried a few of the Clarion Dealers and they didn't seem to know that particular model. Pain really :(

What about trying to pick up a manual, it might giive you some troubleshooting tips on how to get the unit ouf of 'pause' mode.

never thought of that. I have tried powering it down, then turning the hand unit on and off too. So I don't know really. I spoke with a guy in the uk who is the main dealer for clarion and he said to contact the head office in the states. they don't even have an email address on that but they do CD CHANGER CONTROLLER WITH FM MODULATORpity because they might actually know something?
