Speeding & tickets

A mate of mine got stopped on his way to the hospital..
..A co-worker had gotten a couple of fingers cut-off in a nasty incident..

granted said mate was driving his 4x4 on the bicycle/pedestrian path at the time..he was trying to avoid stopping for traffic..sadly that particular buch of traffic had a bike cop-man sitting in it..

Cop stopped mate - mate showed coworkers hand/blood/bag of fingers..
Cop went - "right..bladibla..."..mate tore off to the hospital..

A few days later he recieved a photo in the post of him speeding - he'd only gone and gotten caught in a photo trap..

I can't recall if the fingers did go back on in the end - but I do remember seeing a fair bit of bloodstain in the 4x4..
