€1500 is shocking for a lady to be paying for an FTO. I'm a male 28 and only paying €700-800(cant remember exaxt figure) for tpft with quinn and thats gone up because of a theft claim last year, it was €600-700. My quote was about €1000-1100 for fully comp if memory serves me correctly.
I'm surprised to find a lady paying more for insurance than a man, I thought that didn't happen Only thing you could try is maybe going tpft and seeing if you can afford that. Only downside is if you crash. A replacement FTO would cost you around €1500 now anyway so it might be worth considering tpft insurance.
You might also try increasing the excess on your insurance, that can bring it down but I've no idea of how much it would save you.

The more cynical amongst us (and its possibly just me on my lonesome) would think you're just posting enough (min of 10 posts for the for sale thread) so you can put your FTO up for sale.
