camera kinda over exposed the shot so it's a bit blurry

with flash

without flash, even the LED sidelights look bright there.

Is this the 8k vs 6k comparison, or is this the 8k HID vs stock bulb comparison ?

Also, can we find out from the guy whether a bulk postage discount will be applied or is he planning to send all ordered kits as inidividual items ?

Problem better to keep them all as individual and then hope that we don't get caught for VAT. I presume then that we can negotiate with the guy on the per-unit price given the bulk buy

Uhm..

They don't do em.. unless you feel like doing some modding and making a kit fit..

Here is a kit for H3 bulbs, I might buy a set to compare.

http://tinyurl.com/24ppp5

works out at €94.43 inc. postage. postage is a bit steep at €50 IMO

With DHL shipping you're pretty much guaranteed to get caught out for VAT..

Just to keep you guys up to date - I haven't yet received a reply from the seller..

I'd expect one later today.

Update:
*****

Seller got back to me just now.
we need to purchase 100 sets to get a cheaper price.
Personally I don't fancy having 90sets of HID light sitting in the shed in the Garden - not do I have the money to spend.

Group buy destroyed by silly seller - I say we go ahead and order on our own.

How about telling him that seeing as though we will 'only' have an order for 12-15 sets, that if he is unwilling to move on unit price, he surely can offer a reduction on postage similar to most other online retailers on eBay

wouldn't a discount on postage involve a bulk package which will attract customs?

Maud

Scratch me from the list please i decided to get this set
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-XENO ... QQtcZphoto

€66 delivered to door.

Apparently postage is charge by weight so they cannot offer discount on multiple items

Ok

Ordered kit on 31st and it arrived today from Hong Kong. Exactly as it is described here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0144407693

Got 9006 6000K. Fitted it tonight and works perfect. I have a set of Philips ballasts and compared the new ones and they are identical. Actually the new ballasts have stainless steel covers.

Also you do not have to swap the red and black wires as the plug will fit either way around.

Now awaiting 9005 6000K bulbs for the Philips ballasts to fit to the main beams.

The a set of blue vision H3 bulbs for the facelift bumper spots.

I ordered another set there for someone else a few days ago, price has gone up $10 since last time. Happy with quality though as is the person I'm ordering for.

Steelroe, have you still got that IFS, forgot all about it till today
