How do you know what the racing line is without seeing the whole corner - its impossible to see the apex from that shot!

If you look at the kerb there's an enormous amount of wear on it. That would suggest to me that most drivers take that line.

Point taken - however there could be a number of racing lines in a corner - its difficult to see the optimum racing line without looking at the corner as a whole (and the car used) and taking into account what preceeded the corner and what lies ahead.

In any case I'm sure it will take a little time to get optimum racing lines around the Nurgurgring - many people just drive as opposed to race the track - I know I wouldn't be monstering any kerbs for the first few times I'd be visiting this track.

I know I'm only poking fun. ;) Believe me I'd get ALL the lines wrong. For a while anyway.

All.... I am new to the scene. I have had an FTO for 2.5 years now. Would be interested in joining you all for a meet. What has been decided? I am having trouble following the flow of the thread. BTW, Loeb is the king. Cool under preasure and a legend at the wheel!

Seb - way too many activities - I suggest we meet in Limerick or Bunratty ok - but that we just visit Lahinch/Cliffs of Moher/ Doolin for food and then Ailwee caves. Way too much otherwise for a day - we'd be forgetting about the reason we have meets - the FTO's!

Also suggest that if peeps are ok with an overnight that they put "overnight" beside their name.

I kinda forgot that it's winter and there's not as much daylight, we can cherrypick the good ones.

Meet ye in Limerick somewhere, any of the Limerick lads going up I could join up with ye, let me know a place and time closer to the date.
Or if any other Corkonians going up we could meet in Cork first and then meet the Limerick contingent.

For accomodation may I suggest either Kinvarra - http://www.merrimanhotel.com - the hotel where we stayed on our last karting trip to the West - may bring back some fairly blurred memories for CJ and Dave.
OR Doolin - http://www.hoteldoolin.ie/index.php - stayed here recently - really nice hotel.

Perfect Kenkeo, whereabouts you based? I'm in Ballincollig so anywhere is good for me as I'll have to pass through the city anyway. We'll arrange a time closer to the date, got to figure out travel times and stuff first.

Guys,
Would want to be deciding on the accomodation fairly soon, We're getting into Christmas party season :smt111 so a lot of places will be getting booked up...

Have we finalised the times, routes, activities, etc?
