unluckiest fto ever

yes you've guessed it, yet another crash!!
that's four in the last six months and yet again not my fault, i think my car attracts muppets!
i pulled up outside the office, and there was no parking so i decided to go back they way i came to go further down to get some parking.
i did a 3 point turn, got across the road, nothing coming, reversed slightly, to avoid the curb, then i saw the other guy coming, didn't think anything of it cos i was right there, chnaged into first and was pulling away when yer man must not have seen me and then tried to undertake me on the passengers side and caught the front passnegers wing!!! some people!!!
wouldn't mind the guy had to see me as i was sideways across the road before he was even there, got out raging and he was adiment that i hit him! cops were called and then kept out of it altogether, not up to them to say who's liable! so talking to a few people in here and because i have no witnesses it looks like it'll be a 50/50 job!! which i'm not too happy about to say the least!

sorry to hear that mate -

he must have a thick neck trying to claim that you hit him when he was embedded in your passenger wing, unless of course you've modified your car to allow you drive sideways down the road - sounds like he is a muppet.

As bad as it sounds, with insurance the way it is, rule no. 1 is never accept it was your fault. With insurance premiums through the roof, doing the right thing costs you greatly.

Thought the cops would be able to work out something by the way the cars collided.....

not a huge amount of damage thank god, so it's not going to cost thousands of yo yo's but yeah he has some neck on him alright, his story was all over the shop, saying he saw me and then that i hit him, and the only possible way that i could have hit him is if he was on my inside. cops can't do much to be honest they are only there to take details and make sure both parties are taxed and insured!
so talking to a few people here in the office most of them are saying it'll be a 50/50, main problem is that the damage is sao far up the passenger side up near the front, so with it being my word against his there's not much i can do, unless he puts something on his claim form that shows he was in the wrong!

Sorry to hear that Dave, I think you must have a muppet magnet hidden somewhere in the GS!
