Squeaksville

Anyone know how to cure exceedingly squeaky brakes. I didn't copperslip when I changed the discs or pads, but didn't think it would make that much of a difference given that the copperslip is applied to the back of the pads and the squeak would be caused by the disc against the pad ?

Anyone ? I remember a recent post on this but didn't think that it was that conclusive

Best thing to do Kace would be to copperslip up the pads. I have a similar problem but I'm fairly certain its the rear pads causing the noise (applying CS to the fronts made no difference in my case), it can be hard to ascertain where the noise is coming from sometimes.

Hmmm, mine definitely sounds like to fronts. No degradation in braking performance, just sounds like an artic when I come to a halt in traffic
