Transfer Mobile contacts to diff phone

Doeas anyone know how I go about transferring all my contacts from a Sony ericsson (K850i) to a Nokia mobile.
Screen has crashed on the Sony but I am able to get the contacts up on the Sony PC software and save them but how do get them onto the Nokia. Memory card wont work as the Sony has on of those tint M2 cards
All help appreciated

You should have PC suite with the nokia, AFAIK it can read contacts from an excel file.
Then sync your nokia with your PC...

You could buy/get a lend of a adapter for the memory card, you just insert the memory card into the right size adapter for the phone. I have one of these and its very handy. I might even have a spare one lying around somewhere, if I find it I could send it to you. I got them as part of a memory card/ bluetooth dongle set I bought from vodafone, it was about €24 iirc.

The spare adapter set I have is for a Micro SD card. Is that the same thing? I dont know if it is what you need but as your welcome to it if it is.

Just realised the contacts are stored on the phone memory so I need to download from the phone, which I can do but it is then save in .DBK format not excal like with hte nokia. So how do i get it to thwe nokia.

There are DBK to XLS converters available on the net. even if you could get the data from your Sony phone into some raw format, it should make creating an excel file really easy.

Probably not much help to you with the broken screen, but I had to copy my contacts from a Sony Ericsson W580 to a Nokia. Put the sim card in the Sony Ericsson, found an option in Contacts to copy to sim, moved the sim into the Nokia, and copied from sim to phone. The SE had some numbers after some of the names so it's slightly messy but did the job.

Ya saving ur contacts to ur sim card not ur phone will cause em to autoatically transfer to any phone u put it into. If u can c the screen at all that would be a real easy job or if u can get ur hands on the same phone just mimic the sequence of buttons you'd have to press on the phone with the working screen.
