Banned from driving in France for a month and fined a few hundred Euro.

I'm sure he's just devastated (and penniless) after that!

'Bout time a few of these drivers showed their bad side - the present bunch of F1 drivers are pretty characterless. Whatever happen to the likes of Alesi, Senna, Mansell, Frentzen, Villeneuve,Montoya etc - drove by the seat of their pants - glad to see traction control getting banned from F1 and a return to slicks - it'll suit the ballsier drivers.

Did you see him on Top Gear the other night. The guy is seriously talented for someone so young. He drove as fast as the Stig.

Definitely the next Schueeeee - except that he's actually got some excitement about him.

And the track was wet - fairly certain he would have been quicker than the Stig around a dry track. And why wouldn't he! He's an F1 driver - the Stig (in his many incarnations) may be a racing driver but he's no Hamilton (at least not till Hamilton himself or Schumacher dons the white helmet).

Yes but he's barely out of nappies !! Very impressive for a guy with so few years under his belt.

Don't forget this guy has been bank rolled by Maclaren since he was 11 years old ...he may be young but he has a lot of experience under his belt and has had the best of equipment in every race series he's competed in and had a lot of mileage in F1 cars before entering the series.
That said I was impressed with his season in that he didn't bottle it (...until the last couple of races that is!) and in the way that he won out over his double world champion team mate.

If this is anything to go on we might see him on TopGear again...
