Is this a record

Postby pergau » Tue May 25, 2004 1:02 pm

I've just clocked up 163500Kms on my GPX (101,500 miles) Well, the previous owner did most of them but the car is driving beautifully and not giving problems.

Is that the highest mileage here - everyone else seems to have 60K miles or so.

Just wondering how long more I'll get out of the engine.

As long as the engine has been looked after, theres no reason why you shouldn't get at least 200,000 kms out of it. A few UK owners have 250k up if I remember correctly.

It's a tip box and I love it but I find that I sometimes forget to change gear when I drive my wife's car.

I sometimes forget to change from Tip to Drive and end up making a show of myself at the lights thinking I'm in D
