is the first white one from HP imports missing its rear spoiler blade ?

also is it an optical illusion, or does the stance of the red one from galway look odd, big ould gap at front wheelarch compared to back. is it that the suspension looks high at front, or is back wheel a larger diameter ??

No, thats standard, on standard springs the front does look higher than the back for whatever reason, or maybe its just the bigger front wheel arches make it look that way. Apex springs lower more at the front (45mm) than the back (25mm) to try to compensate.

Im liking the white and the price is not bad either.
Hope its still there in three weeks.
Do you guys know anyone good for a spray job maybe to light silver the white would be a great base color for silver.
My wife hates white cars.
Have any of you guys come across a silver fto with doors which hinge upward on 18s maybe 19s no spoiler and some great bodykit work ive got a downloaded pic on my computer it looks great would like to try something like that.

michael, personally i think your nuts opting for a white fto then spraying it silver, factor in the extra cost of spraying............ then resale of a sprayed car can be difficult at the best of times, also as ive said earlier look at the rear spoiler, the fin has either been taken off or broken off......... more expense mate, personally not worth it at all

Also Kev, i know what you mean by the fto sitting slightly higher at front, but the more i look at it now the more im convinced thats its still sitting too high at front, ESPECIALLY FOR A GPX MODEL !!..................... different shocks front and back ??

The red one is on standard suspension and doesn't have different shocks - I know because its mine!! The photo was taken from a funny angle too so that might have made a difference.

Contemplated lowering it when I got it but I just cant bare to give up the comfort!! I know when himself had the blue one a couple of years ago it looked better lowered but you really loose out on comfort.

Anyway, Michael the red one is mint, it came in as a UK import so it has a really good alarm and immoboliser which is important for a flashy car like that. Also it is not missing the center part of the spoiler. FTOs have been part of my life for 4 years now and I can honestly tell you that this car is one of the cleanest you will find.

Dont worry too much about the price, I will take less than the asking price. I'd be fairly happy with 11k which I think is about right for a car of that spec. Also I have a HPI report to show that the car was never involved in an accident in the UK and I have the previous owners details also if you want them.

I would be a bit suspicious about the white one - it is very very cheap for a 97. The VRT on a 97 is €1900 so really he would have had to have gotten the car for under €4000 in japan to make any money on it (keeping in mind he has to pay rent, trade insurance, tax etc out of the profit). I have brought in a couple of cars from a japan over the last 3 years and I know that you will not get a straight GPX manual for that kind of money over there (not with that mileage anyway). If you look at it make sure he shows you the auction sheet and check the grade up on the top right, if its less than a grade 4 I would be suspicious. Also the auction sheet will verify the mileage. If it is straight then I would jump it it because its a bargain price.
