Seperit tyres

I fitted 4 DIRECTION-SPORT of this make

What do ye think of these , anyone else out there running on these.

They were €165 a piece in 225/40/18 which i think seemed reasonable enough

i take it you mean SEMPERIT tyres :) , these would never be my weapon of choice, im surprised they are available in this size, id consider them more of a middle of the road tyre, ( sorry bad punn  ).
i hope you prove me wrong though, one other concern would be the availability of these tyres again, has anyone else tried them ?

Semperit have a good rep in the wet but other than that, they're not all that special.

Not a bad tyre - W rated and better than all the lower end muck like Nankangs / Champiro / Matador / Wanli etc.

But for €165 per tyre (even at 18 inch size) I would be expecting F1 Eagles or Bridgestone RE 050 or S03's. Its not a bad price -their retail is €212 - but who pays retail? I bought my last set of S03's for €100 each (though they were 17inch). My previous set of F1 Eagles were €140 each for 17's. The retail on both these sets would be also be €200 +
