Sounds like they are referring to the FSE power boost valve. It's a replacement for the standard fuel pressure control valve and it's supposed to give increased fuel pressure and as a result more power.

Not worth a crap if you ask me, unless you've radically changed fuelling so that you actually need one for the car to run properly. A lot GTI guys in the uk fit them with some of the more extreme remaps (i.e the remap needs increased fuelling) but they also fit bigger injectors....

As per Shane - basically a fuel pressure regulator - increases fuel pressure as the revs rise. A worthwhile mod if you have already fitted induction, decat ss exhaust and are in the process of fitting a performance manifold and downpipes. Otherwise no point in fitting to a standard car.

Like the majority of mods - not much use in isolation - but nice as part of an overall package.
