prefacelift v facleift

Postby ftomad » Thu Mar 13, 2008 4:11 pm

Guys im just wondering whats you thoughts on the facelift model versus the old model, i think the front bumper makes such a difference and its much nicer than the prefacelift.
Also tink the aero spoiler finishes off the fto perfect.
But this is just my opinion im sure there are people that prefer the old model

As the FTOs get older its becoming less of an issue.
I have a slight personal preference for the facelift front despite having owned two classic front FTO's. Its just a little cleaner looking IMO.

However my ideal FTO front bumper would combine the FTO facelift lights (with halos) in a classic bumper with a splitter.

kinda like Neils - sweeeet!

think that would look good without the splitter, tho im not a fan of splitters as they near all look cheap

I'm with feckin' on this one..

Classic with the facelift pods is the way to go I think - rare enough mod too :-)

Massimo -> Nops that the real deal that... was sold not all too long ago.. to a lady with superb taste I believe.. (could be wrong here NOI!)..

I had a front splitter on both my last FTO and current Zed. I think it would have looked rather odd with low side skirts and a standard front bumper.

Splitters are fine as part of an overall kit. They give the FTO a more "grounded" effect to the look especially in the flesh.

I only like splitters if they're blended into the bumper.

like this one was!
