Look it up....

If you can enter the car from the boot, sure it should be called a door, if you can't, then its not, simple as that.
I'm not confused about it Colm I'm pretty clear in what I think a door is, in fact I know what a door is, the fact something has glass isn't definition of a door, its the fact if it can be used as an entry point. True most boots that you can enter the car through have glass, but I presume that's just a coincidence and not where the definition comes from.
So confused? No. Stubborn? Yes.
