Picture Request: Colour Coded Headlights

Postby adrian » Mon Mar 03, 2008 10:20 pm

Hey there,

Looks like I will have to oven bake my headlight to seal it... so, I might think about doing both and colour coding them. Has anyone a photo or colour coded headlights on an FTO...prefa siler FTO with silver lights?

Cheers!

I wouldn't. the standard lights are very cool, painting them silver makes them look like regular reflector lights, maybe if the car was another colour.

Daves old FTO had color coded headlights - it was at the limerick meet in 2006 so you might find a shot of it in that album..

albums link is on www.fto-ireland.com page..

I'm inclined to agree. Adrian, I already had the nearside heatlight in the oven (search the forum for 'scones', MFFTO's favorite) and its sealed with silicone - i.e. its not coming apart again without serious force!
