Joined a while ago, but only starting to use the site now...
Just bought my 1st FTO - Silver GR Manual - Yaaaay! Already been riddiculed in a forum, but still here! This is great! Can't wait for first cruise! Are there many girl members? I love my cars but still don't know as much as you guys! Bear with me...

At the moment you're the only active female member (that I know of anyway). Although some of the other guys better-half's have been to some meets so you never know it could develop into a family thing.

Welcome again. The old washer bottle warning light thing is a bit of an induction ritual!

The manual GR is a sweet car, I had one myself up until recently.

It is a fairly male dominated forum but there are a few ladies on here as well. The more the merrier! Helps keep things a bit balanced.

"Riddiculed" is a bit strong - it was just a laugh - you have now been officially baptised on the FTO forum.

There are not many girl members to be honest though most of our better halfs come to the meets as "FTO widows" - still have great craic though.

What plans have you for it so far? Had a few bits and pieces to straighten out on mine but will hopefully get my leather retrim next week...

Your not the only girl but your in a very very small minority, FTO-Girl sold hers but still visits from time to time and there are a few others around.

Hey, i am not to sure yet but if im not working i might make an apperance, dont actually think my car would be up to the standard to go to a meet yet, needs a few things done with her.

I see that you want your car to be pink, i think it would be mad, had this debate with the lads a while ago they were all againts me, typical.

Def would not mind going up for a look tho, might get a few ideas.

The idea of the meet is for FTO owners regardless of model or condition to meet up and have a chat about their cars - most of the forum cars are in near standard condition - its not a modified car forum or meet. You will pick up some good advice and ideas from longer term owners and you might even have a bit of craic and make a couple of friends.
