I use Cartronics in Santry, they can fit a similar sunroof to the factory fit roof. The only problem you might have is the pair of creases on the roof. these might make an aftermarket roof difficult to fit. mine has a factory sunroof and there are no creases on the roof.

You want to cut a hole in the roof of your perfectly good FTO to add the weight of a crap aftermarket sunroof??????

NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!

Spend the money on taking weight out of the FTO - or improving suspension or brakes or breathing mods - there is also a crease line in the roof of the non sunroof FTO that would make an aftermarket sunroof look rather weird even if you could get it to fit.

I agree with MyFeckin' on this one ZJ.. An aftermarket sunroof on a creased roof FTO would just look mad..

If you really want your sun-roof I'd actually suggest looking at doing swapsies with somebody who has a factory one fitted.

No Sunroof!

No sunroof...Even Cartronics had told me I shouldn't spoil my car when I asked them some months ago. You all are right. No sunroof. Getting back to the original subject of this post though, advice on modifying my baby...?

Zubin

You are better off waiting till the meet on Sept 30th and taking a look at a few of the clubs FTO's and making up your own mind what you want to do with the car.

I am unsure as to wheter you want to mod your FTO primarily from a cosmetic viewpoint or whether you want to go for outright performance?

Personally if it was me - I'd start somewhere along the following order:

1: Induction - ITG or HKS
2: Exhaust - Decat or sports cat - uprated downpipe - blueflame quad exhaust.
3: Suspension - KYB Dampers and Apex Springs - Poly bushes - shortened droplinks.
4: Rims and tyres - something NOT bling and not oversized - e.g. 17 inch Lightweight Rotas with high performance rubber such as Goodyear F1 Eagles or Potenza Re050. Ultralight titanium lugnuts.
6: Interior overhaul - change seats or upholster in leather. Change dials - change steering wheel, gearknob and handbrake plus gaiters. sports pedals.
7: Exterior - front bumper of splitter of choice, DC skirts (mould into bodywork if possible), Rear spoiler of choice (Top Mix, Version R, Hiro etc)

Of course the above is only how I would mod an FTO except i would also strip as much weight as possible from the FTO including air con.

Take a look at the previous meets pictures and owners albums on here and you'll soon find something to be getting on with.
